In the Persian language, there are constructions that convey the idea of a main event undergoing a phase change. Such constructions are viewed as a "single event" both semantically and structurally, as they follow a "verb-verb" format. In the present study, the focus is on understanding the conceptualization of these structures, as meaning is determined through this process. To accomplish this objective, we utilized Nolan's (2017) suggestion known as "situation". A cognitive framework encompasses all the morpho-syntactic and semantic details of a construction in a given situation. Additionally, in the present research, the RRG theories of "layered structure of the clause" and "juncture-nexus relations" were primarily employed for data analysis. Data analysis validates the presence of two categories of construction in Persian language, namely simple and compound. Compound phase constructions can also be classified into three types: additional type, explicit type, and non-explicit type, which are shown through ad-nuclear junctures. After introducing various types of phase constructions, the authors ultimately revealed the structural framework of situations in Persian language phase constructions.
