Journal information and its scope

Journal of Iranian Languages & linguistics is a biannual, open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal, published by Shiraz University under formal permission issued by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology. It was established in 2016 by the department of foreign languages and linguistics of the Faculty of Humanities, Shiraz University. It covers all areas of linguistics and dialectology of Iranian languages. Iranian nation is composed of a variety of ethnic groups having their cultural specifications with a vast range of dialects and accents. The Journal publishes research articles, review essays, and critical discussions. It provides a platform for the publication of the most advanced research papers in the area of Iranian dialects and languages.
